I feel good. I am on the mend after of a year of chemicals being poured throughout my body. I am on the mend. My sense of humor is coming back. I am no longer sleeping for hours upon hours. I can digest fresh fruit and vegetables. I am on the mend!
While on the mend I am scared and intimidated by stories. People die of breast cancer every day. It creeps into their system unknown to the body owner. Guess that's why it's called cancer. It is sneaky and wicked in its ways. Elizabeth Edwards losing the fight. I know she has great doctors and insurance - yet she is losing the battle.
A cure must be found.

Hello friend.
ReplyDeleteHow weird. I haven't checked your blog for a long time. I guess in some ways I felt like the blog ended when the chemo did. But I didn't stop caring about you, or wanting to support you or even writing to you.
I have no idea why I decided to log on to your blog tonight. I was sitting here on my way to the Ebay freeway to search for a mystery gift that would find itself under the tree. Instead I took the scenic route and look what I found. Leah Marston smiling at me. I found her beautiful garden healthy and lush and so full of beauty and food for honey bees, and butterflies and birds.
I found a handsome son, an adorable dog and a lucky kitty named Pyewacket.
I am so glad I took this route instead.
Leah when I see the face on your blog and that smile what I never saw before was the fear of the unknown. You probably felt like crap. And you gave us that smile day in and day out so we could all feel better.
Today your smile lights up your face and a room. Today your skin glows with good health.
YOu have come a long way baby. And you have a long way to go. There are weeds to pull, flowers to plant, kids to inspire happy hours to enjoy and love to grow old with.
Yes it comes back. To some. But it also stays away. My sister in law a 12 year survivor and healthy. My aunt the same. I dont know how to tell you to not fear the unknown I am lousy at it. I just know that for today you are beautiful, you are healthy, you are fun
and you are a survivor.
I am glad I stopped by.
Love you Miss Leah!
I hereby declare you inspirator number 1. God bless YOU Monica!I'm glad you stopped by too!
ReplyDeleteI'm 55-year-old from paris, I was diagnosed with second-stage liver cancer following a scheduled examination to monitor liver cirrhosis. I had lost a lot of weight. A CT scan revealed three tumors; one in the center of my liver in damaged tissue and two in healthy portions of my liver. No chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment was prescribed due to my age, the number of liver tumors. One month following my diagnosis I began taking 12 (350 point) Salvestrol supplements per day, commensurate with my body weight. This comprised six Salvestrol Shield (350 point) capsules and six Salvestrol Gold (350 point) capsules, spread through the day by taking two of each capsule after each main meal. This level of Salvestrol supplementation (4,000 points per day) was maintained for four months. In addition, I began a program of breathing exercises, chi exercises, meditation, stretching and stress avoidance. Due to the variety of conditions that I suffered from, I received ongoing medical examinations.
